Ambi Robotics, Inc. is looking for a skilled Senior Cost & Inventory Accountant that will be responsible for performing inventory analysis, the inventory close and financial reporting, while ensuring accurate records are maintained. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. The ability to multi-task is a must. The candidate will be strategic, proactive, resourceful, and be able to build strong relationships within the finance department and cross-functionally.

In this role you will:
- Responsible for all aspects of inventory accounting; standard costing, transfers/eliminations, reserve calculations across multiple warehouses and product lines
- Work with Production to ensure Bills of Materials (BOM) are accurate and up to date.
- Responsible for scoping, coordination and monitoring of physical inventories; finished goods, work in process, raw materials, parts and supplies.
- Conduct inventory analysis, including researching and explaining fluctuations
- Analyze data for costing and determine the proper treatment across all product lines
- Prepare account reconciliations and month-end cost accounting close
- Prepare and maintain monthly accruals and allocations across multiple product lines.
- Evaluate and recommend new approaches and procedures that result in process improvements and efficiencies
- Maintain company inventory accounting procedures and processes
- Work cross-functionally to ensure inventory policies and procedures are consistently being followed
- Ensure compliance with all internal processes
- Complete ad-hoc reporting and analysis
You are a good fit if you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA highly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
- Prior experience with inventory accounting and reporting concepts in a manufacturing environment and supply chain knowledge required
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets knowledge including pivot tables and vlookup functions
- Must be a self-starter and a quick learner who can work independently and as a part of a team with minimal supervision
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Previous experience with Quickboooks, Cin7 Core (previously known as DEAR) and Asana are a plus
- Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize workload
- Effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, to individuals at all levels of the organization
- Strong understanding of financial and operational controls
- High degree of attention to detail
- Adherence to tight deadlines with a timely turnaround for accounting deliverables
- Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks
