The Role:
Evisort is looking for a dynamic finance leader to join our team with a strong background of financial analysis and strategic planning. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with our CEO and Executive team to drive Evisort's financial planning process, budget, and partner with each area of the business. Your expertise will be crucial in creating robust systems, optimizing investments, and enhancing financial reporting across all departments.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Collaboration: You’ll work closely with our CEO and Executive Leadership Team to create and run our strategic and financial planning process including budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, and goal setting. Partner with departments across the business to create operational budgets, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), allocate resources, and establish infrastructure for reporting financial performance both internally and externally. This role will have a mandate across:
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Partner with functional areas on financial planning, forecasting and budgeting, reporting and identification of relevant key performance indicators (KPIs). Create our financial operating model, systems, and tools that will help Evisort better understand our P&L to make better decisions across the organization. Analyze the levers that will drive Evisort’s long-term financial success by conducting competitive research, observing market trends, and researching comparable companies. Optimize investments and expenses through strategic and analytical evaluation of current spend, identification of improvements and efficiencies and execution of activities to improve return on investment.
  • Management & Reporting: Create a streamlined reporting function (monthly, quarterly and annual) to communicate the financial health of the company to leadership and key stakeholders, across multiple functions. Lead and Manage the daily operations of Finance and Accounting functions ensuring all transactions are documented and recorded in accordance with the financial policies and procedures to GAAP standards (e.g. cash flow requirements, balance sheet, and income statement) Provide modeling and analytical support for strategic projects, perform in-depth financial analysis, including new product development, go-to-market strategy and other business initiatives to guide capital allocation.
  • Scale: Design an organizational structure that efficiently accomplishes the department’s goals and objectives. Identify, design, and implement systems, processes, internal controls, and policies that will scale with future growth to achieve the appropriate level of competence for financial reporting analysis, forecasting, and accounting.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Postgraduate qualification such as a MBA, CFA, CPA, etc
  • 8+ years of experience in Accounting and Finance function with 4+ years in a leadership role building teams in a high growth SaaS business.
  • 4+ years in Investment Banking/Private Equity, or 4+ years in corporate FP&A
  • Experience building and executing a SaaS-based business model and deep understanding of relevant SaaS KPIs (e.g. ARR, LTV, CAC, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal skills to communicate and present complex ideas and information clearly, accurately, and succinctly to senior executives and/or boards members.
  • Great organization skills with the ability to navigate competing priorities to drive initiatives to completion in a fast paced environment
  • Deep experience with financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting in Investment Banking or have modeling experience as part of a corporate FP&A team
  • Experience overseeing client billing, collections, accounts receivable and payable
  • Hands-on experience in a high growth environment with expertise developing complex Excel financial models.
  • History of establishing excellent working relationships with all departments across all levels of your prior company(s)
