Hasura is looking for an experienced Customer Success Engineer to work directly with Hasura customers to implement solutions and troubleshoot challenges. This role will work directly in partnership with a Solutions Architect who will oversee the holistic approach driving technical success for the customer.

DDN is changing the way developers and teams build software today. The Hasura DDN Engine is an open source tool that makes it fast and easy to compose multiple, varied data sources through a simple unified interface (e.g., GraphQL). This approach empowers developers to rapidly create and iterate their APIs thanks to the flexibility of this unified interface as well as the automation of toilsome considerations like security, performance, resource footprint, and scalability.

Hasura is being adopted by developers in some of the largest Fortune 500 companies as well as startups. What the role will involve:

  • Interface directly with customers on a daily basis to ensure the success of their implementation
  • Closely collaborate with customers to identify organizational challenges or gaps that can be resolved in partnership with the Solutions Architect
  • Assist the customer with implementation of the proposed solutions
  • Identify patterns and best practices through real-world observations and experiences
  • Gather feedback and share appropriately with internal stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in working in a high growth, fast-paced and dynamic startup environment
  • Genuine empathy about solving real-world customer problems and building happy and successful customer relationships
  • Ability to work 8am-Noon US Eastern time 4 days a week
  • Strong, hands-on experience in the following technologies:
    • Linux, the terminal and other command line tools
    • Containerization (Docker and Kubernetes)
  • Deployment manifest tooling (Docker Compose and Helm)
  • Programming languages (TypeScript, Go or Rust)
  • Scripting languages (Python, shell or similar)
  • 2+ years experience working with enterprise customers such as those found within Forbes 500 and G2K companies in a DevOps/SRE or customer success capacity.
  • Self-starter who can deliver success based on high level goals designed by the Solutions Architect
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to travel for internal/customer meetings

Nice to have:

  • Experience with product-led growth initiatives
  • Experience with APIs such as GraphQL or REST
  • Experience with Hasura GraphQL Engine
  • Hands-on experience in the following technologies:
    • Management of multi-service or distributed API ecosystem
    • CI/CD technologies (Github Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI or Terraform)
    • APM solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic or Dynatrace)
    • Databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, MySQL or Oracle)

Location:

(India) This position is based in India. Remote is an option but we strongly prefer candidates based in Bangalore.
