People Operations Coordinator

We are looking for a People Operations Coordinator to support our team with a variety of office and people-related needs. In this role, you’ll be the go-to resource for team member questions, assist with coordinating candidate interviews, facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires, and ensure our San Francisco office is organized and running efficiently. As part of the People team, you’ll help create an environment where team members feel supported, engaged and enabled to collaborate and thrive.
What the role will involve:
- Serve as the first point of contact for team member questions about payroll, benefits, and other People policies or initiatives
- Manage the queue of People-related requests received via email or service desk, working with internal subject matter experts to resolve and escalating more complex issues as appropriate
update team member information in our HRIS system as needed and maintain physical documents and files for audits and reporting purposes - Submit US payroll information for finance team review and approval, ensuring all changes are accurately reflected
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages, responding to any People-related requests where required
- Ensure office supplies, branded promotional items, and equipment are stocked and organized, placing orders to replenish them as necessary
- Maintain organization and tidiness of meeting spaces and common areas, ensuring supplies are available and equipment is functional
- Support on-site meetings and events by assisting with room setup, video conferencing, catering, and other logistical needs
- Help the Talent Acquisition team with candidate communications and interview scheduling
- Facilitate a smooth onboarding experience, including completion of pre-employment screenings and
- Employment authorization verifications for US-based employees
- Handle ad-hoc projects, reporting, and tasks as needed
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or office support
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and use good judgment
- Solutions-oriented and able to deliver effective results within tight deadlines
- Works in an organized manner and pays attention to detail
- Absorbs information from multiple sources quickly and can incorporate into value-added recommendations
Nice to have:
- 1+ year(s) of experience in start-up environment
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
- Experience supporting both in-person and remote teams

Compensation:
The compensation for this role ranges from $75,000 - $82,000 (including bonus) plus ESOPs.
