Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR)

What the role will involve:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify and prospect potential customers across industries, focusing on developers, engineering teams, and technical decision-makers.
- Develop and execute creative outbound strategies, including cold emails, phone calls, and LinkedIn outreach, to generate new business opportunities.
- Partner closely with Account Executives to schedule discovery meetings and provide them with detailed handoffs for seamless engagement.
- Leverage CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track activities, manage leads, and maintain accurate data.
- Stay informed about Hasura’s product offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively communicate value propositions to prospects.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs, including outreach volume, qualified meetings, and pipeline creation.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in an outbound sales, business development, or similar role (experience in SaaS or developer tools is a strong plus).
- Strong understanding of the software development ecosystem, including familiarity with concepts like APIs, GraphQL, and cloud services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft).
- A growth mindset and eagerness to learn about Hasura’s technology and the developer space.
Location:
- 3 days Out of our office in San Francisco, US
Compensation:
The compensation for this role ranges from OTE $110,000 - $120,000 (including bonus) plus ESOPs.
