About the team
At PromptQL, we call our Account Executives, “AI Strategists.” We drive enterprise AI transformation initiatives by strategically engaging with senior business and technology leaders, architecting complex AI solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes, and orchestrating cross-functional resources to ensure successful implementation. PromptQL is in a unique position: you would be joining a small 125+ person start up but step into a product that has an average deal size well into the mid six figures. This is a great chance to get in on the ground floor and build something special.
About the role
We are looking for a strategic thinker, true hunter, and client partner who can identify and articulate AI-enabled business transformation opportunities. In this heavy prospecting role, you will take ownership of a greenfield territory and be responsible for territory and account planning. You will close large six to seven figure deals in 8-12 weeks. This requires a consultative seller, who combines technical credibility, business acumen, and a relentless execution to drive enterprise AI transformation.
Location: Central Region, remote
  • Proactively generate pipeline through multiple channels including executive networking
  • Engage with both technical practitioners and C-suite economic buyers
  • Actively customize and position AI solutions in the context of business outcomes & their value
  • You will challenge customer assumptions with well-reasoned provocative viewpoints
  • You will negotiate and create win-win scenarios while protecting company interests
  • Adept at identifying, documenting, and communicating customer use cases to product teams
About you
  • 8+ years of enterprise sales experience or strategy consulting with a proven track record of consistently exceeding expectations
  • Demonstrated success selling complex technology solutions with long sales cycles to C-level executives
  • Extensive experience in technology sales or consulting, preferably with AI, SaaS, or enterprise software solutions
  • Previous experience at leading AI companies, hyperscale cloud providers, high-growth SaaS organizations, or top-tier consulting firms (e.g. McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Deloitte)
  • Willingness to develop expertise in PromptQL
  • Ability to develop provocative points of view that challenge customer thinking
  • Established network of senior technology and business leaders
  • Experience with modern sales tools and methodologies (6Sense, account-based marketing)
  • Consultative selling expertise focused on business transformation
  • Successful history with both new logo acquisition and account expansion strategies
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML and Agentic concepts, applications, and implementation challenges
  • History of building and maintaining executive relationships at Fortune 1000 companies
  • Exceptional business acumen with ability to translate technical capabilities into business value
  • Excellent forecasting accuracy and pipeline management skills
  • Proven ability to quarterback complex deals involving multiple stakeholders
  • Track record of self-generated pipeline creation and account-based marketing approaches

Location & Travel Requirements
  • Remote, living in territory preferred
  • Access to travel to territory via short plane ride is acceptable
  • Travel to prospect and customer site on a generally consistent basis. You'll own your business and be live with customers when you need to be
Compensation
  • $320,000 - $375,000 OTE
  • Uncapped commissions
  • Equity (ESOPS)
