About the Project

Hi there! We are Testlio, a software testing company with a freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from companies worldwide. Testlio is an excellent place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work. Though we work primarily with QA and QE professionals, some projects are open to anyone interested in cooperating with us. Please note that it is a gig, not a full-time role.

We are currently looking for freelancers from selected US states such as Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, New York, Ohio and West Virginia to join a massive testing project we are running for one of our clients. Our client is a famous US chain of convenience stores. They are releasing an update of their loyalty app and need testers to check how it works at the store. Testers will be expected to drive/go to the nearby store (we will provide a list of locations) and test the client’s app on the spot.

What does testing look like?

• Type of testing: Exploratory, Usability and Payments testing
  • Our client is a famous US chain of convenience stores. They are releasing an update to their loyalty app and need testers to check how it works at the stores.
  • Testers will be expected to drive/go to the nearby store (we will provide a list with locations) and test the client’s app on the spot.
  • Testers will be expected to check whether our client’s loyalty/rewards app works smoothly at the store.
  • If you have Android and iPhone devices, you can create different accounts, perform testing on both devices and be compensated for each separately, increasing your payout.
  • You can cover several locations close to where you live, and you will be paid separately per each visit/transaction, increasing your payout.
• Type of work: short-term, freelance
• Workload: 1 hour, ad hoc
• The pay rate is 50 USD per transaction/store, inclusive of gas compensation
• Plus, there is an additional compensation of 8 USD (transaction cost).
• Payments are made every week via PayPal or Payoneer.
