We are seeking a Test Automation Specialist for a 6-month contract requiring full-time commitment (40 hours/week) with flexibility to support Pacific Time hours as needed. Candidates must have access to an iOS mobile device and a MacBook. Expertise in Python, Appium, and TypeScript with Playwright is essential.

What Do You Need to Succeed?

  • 3-5 years of experience working with web and mobile automation frameworks.
  • Experience with Appium and Playwright.
  • Knowledge of Javascript/Typescript and Python.
  • Hands-on experience in testing large codebases with multiple subsystems.
  • Knowledge of how automation can be leveraged for different quality gates.
  • Previous experience in collaborating with different stakeholders and external clients, as well as developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Experience implementing test automation into CI/CD pipelines is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
  • Be willing to learn fast and continuously expand your knowledge.
  • Team player, socially open-minded, empathetic, and considerate of cultural differences.

What You’ll Be Doing?

  • Act as a Test Automation Specialist in understanding and simplifying the implementations to the QE test automation suite and implementing it into CI/CD pipeline.
  • Assist the other QA/TA team members deployed on the client side in making test automation a success.
  • Adhere to Testlio’s defined scripting governance process.
  • Prepare automation roadmaps and status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing the data.
  • Use your extensive automation experience to challenge the status quo and recommend improvements to frameworks and processes.
  • Partner with clients’ internal teams to drive strategic Automated Testing solutions.
