About You

  • Want to help build a world-class people operations function for a fast-growing startup
  • Naturally creative, curious, and inspired to learn new things
  • Want to be exposed to many facets of a scaling people operations function
  • You quickly prioritize and organize your time to get things done often under deadlines
  • Comfortable wearing many hats and balancing competing priorities
  • You have project management experience
  • No job is too big or too small
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
  • You are driven to improve processes and systems
  • Great listener and communicator (written and verbal)
  • Hyper-organized and detail-oriented
  • Have experience managing confidential information
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Organizational Development, Business or Communications
  • 1-2+ yrs of people operations experience at a tech company
  • Startup experience is a plus
  • Can be in Tulip HQ 3+ days a week


  • General People Operations and HR
    • Culture and engagement programs
    • Training and development programs
    • Employee relations & retention
    • Key program execution and administrative support
    • Management of People Ops data practice and systems updates
    • Recruiting and sourcing as needed
  • Onboarding and Employee Lifecycle
    • Run our HQ onboarding cycle and facilitate global onboarding with EU local offices
    • Support teams on team-specific onboarding resources and planning
    • Partner with IT and Operations to ensure logistics of onboarding and offboarding run smoothly
    • Support execution of internal change processes for internal moves, promotions, etc.
  • Internal Communications
    • Manage execution of our internal communication cadence and system - channels, frequency, content for local and global team
    • Own information hubs for employee resources
    • Partner with Ops on collecting and communicating key information across the company in alignment with operational rhythms
