As a QA Engineer at Upsolver, you will build methods, procedures, tools, and policies to ensure that our customers are impressed with our cutting-edge technology. You will significantly influence the quality assurance process and methodology for product development while ensuring all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, execution, quality assurance, and issue tracking.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the product release quality and risks in our SaaS products.
• Continually improve the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the QA effort by assessing current quality assurance practices and incorporating new strategies.
• Work closely with product management and engineering functions.
• Own feature quality assurance from end to end, including writing test plans and testing.

Qualifications

• B.A., B.Sc. degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience leading and owning the product QA domain.
• Expertise in QA methodologies within an Agile environment including writing QA documents, test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
• Experience leading the quality of SaaS enterprise products used by thousands of customers at a high scale.
• Experience in managing functional and non-functional testing, including performance, stability, and upgradability testing.

Advantages

• BI / Data Warehouse / Database / SQL / Big data experience.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, including scripting skills and CI tools in a cloud environment.

• Knowledge and experience of HTTP backend testing.
