Who We Are

Vividly is the leading modern trade promotion management (TPM) solution built by and for the consumer packaged goods industry. From campaign creation to deductions management and promotion measurement, we help brands manage every element of trade spend. With our easy-to-use platform and industry-leading experience, we pride ourselves on our ability to bring businesses to the next level.

Not familiar with trade promotion spend? That’s OK. Most people aren’t. It’s a $8 trillion dollar problem that is ripe for disruption by an innovative SaaS startup. In order to grow, consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands spend 20% of their topline revenue to get into retailers and promote their products within those retailers. The problem is that today 70% of those promotions are not ROI positive. This is because ROI is hard to track. The industry operates on emails, pdfs, and xls spreadsheets. At Vividly, we’re solving this massive problem with exciting tactics including AI, Machine Learning, and Fintech and adding value to everyone in the chain. Some of our customers include brands you may use and love - Liquid Death, Amy’s, and Laird Superfoods

Who You Are

Vividly is seeking a dedicated QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer at Vividly, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Trade Promotion Management (TPM) platform, tailored specifically for consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies. You will collaborate closely with our development team and TPM experts to identify, report, and verify issues, as well as contribute to the enhancement of our testing processes.

What You Will Do

  • Test Planning: Collaborate with TPM experts, product managers, and developers to define comprehensive test plans and strategies tailored to the needs of CPG customers.
  • Test Execution: Execute manual and automated test cases to identify defects, ensure feature functionality, and validate the performance of our platform.

  • Regression Testing: Perform regular regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been resolved and that new code changes do not introduce new defects.
  • Automation: Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks to increase testing efficiency and coverage, with a focus on TPM functionalities.
  • Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to assess the responsiveness, stability, and scalability of our platform.
  • Cross-Industry Testing: Ensure that Vividly's platform meets the unique requirements of various CPG companies and adapts seamlessly to their trade promotion needs.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test results, with a strong emphasis on CPG and TPM domains.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with TPM experts, developers, and other stakeholders to communicate issues, verify fixes, and enhance overall product quality.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer, with a background in CPG and TPM being a significant advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficiency in test case design and test execution, tailored to the unique requirements of CPG trade promotions.
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
